Beschreibung

 

Colorimetric determination of amino acids and amines1,2-Naphthoquinone-4-sulfonic acid sodium salt is used for the colorimetric determination of amino acids, amines and procaine hydrochloride in pharmaceutical preparations. It is also used in the characterization of phanerochaete chrysosporium. Further, it acts as an intermediate in the synthesis of carbohydrate based napthoquinones, which acts as anticancer agents.

Anwendungen
Kolorimetrische Bestimmung von Aminosäuren und Aminen1,2-Naphtochinon-4-Sulfonsäure-Natriumsalz wird zur kolorimetrischen Bestimmung von Aminosäuren, Aminen und Procainhydrochlorid in pharmazeutischen Zubereitungen verwendet. Es wird auch bei der Charakterisierung von Phanerochaete chrysosporium verwendet. Darüber hinaus wirkt es als Zwischenprodukt in der Synthese von Kohlenhydrat-basierten Napthochinonen, die als Krebsmedikamente wirken.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser und Aceton. Schwer löslich in Alkohol und Ethanol. Nicht in Chloroform löslich.

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
