Beschreibung

1,5-Diiodopentane is used as a crosslinking reagent. It is used in the preparation of (iodoalkylaminocarbene)tungsten complexes. It is also used as alkylation to form unsubstituted cyclohexane. It is involved in the preparation of poly(1-vinyl imidazole-co-elthylene glycol methyl ether acrylate electrolytes and used for quasi-solid state dye-sensitized solar cells.

Anwendungen
1,5-Diiodpentan wird als vernetztes Reagenz verwendet. Wird bei der Herstellung von (Iodalkylaminocarben)wolframkomplexen verwendet. Wird auch als Alkylierung zur Bildung von nicht substituiertem Cyclohexan verwendet. Ist an der Herstellung von Poly(1-Vinylimidazol-co-Elthynmthyletheracrylatelektrolyten beteiligt und wird für quasifeste farbstoffsensibilisierte Solarzellen verwendet.

Nicht mit Wasser mischbar.
