Anwendungen
Es fungiert als Baustein für die Synthese von HIV-1-Proteasehemmern und wird auch bei der Synthese von (Hydroxyethyl)ureapeptidmimetriken und Arylsulfonamiden mit Anti-HIV-Aktivität eingesetzt. Es ist ein Enantiomer S. Atazanavir-Zwischenprodukt.
