This antibody detects endogenous levels of human CaMKIV protein at a molecular weight of 60 kDa only when phosphorylated at Thr200, and detects mouse and rat CaMKIV protein when phosphorylated at the corresponding site Thr196. Purity is >95% by SDS-PAGE.
Ca2+/calmodulin dependent protein kinase type IV (CAMKIV) belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family, and to the Ca(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase subfamily.
