Anwendungen
Azure B wird zum Färben von halbdünnen Schnitten aus pflanzlichem Gewebe verwendet. Dieser Farbstoff ist auch bei der NCCLS-Methode für Blutausstriche und bei Lilli′es modifizierter Noch-Ts′-Methode für Paraffinschnitte nützlich.

Löslich in 1 mg/ml Wasser. Kaum löslich in Alkohol.
