Beschreibung

Bismuth(III) trifluoromethanesulfonate acts as a catalyst in Friedel-Crafts acylation and cycloisomerization of allene-enol ethers. It behaves as a direct substitution catalyst and involved in the substitution of allylic, propargylic, and benzylic alcohols with sulfonamides, carboxamides and carbamates. Further, it is also used in Mukaiyama aldol reactions.

Anwendungen
Bismuth(III)-Trifluormethansulfonat wirkt als Katalysator bei der Friedel-Crafts-Acylierung und Cycloisomerisierung von Allen-Enol-Ether. Verhält sich wie ein direkter Substitutionskatalysator und beteiligt sich an der Substitution von allylischen, propargylic und benzylischen Alkoholen mit Sulfonamiden, Carboxamiden und Carbamaten. Wird darüber hinaus auch bei Mukaiyama Aldol-Reaktionen verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in organischen Acetonitril, Dioxan, Dimethylformamid und Dimethylsulfoxid.

Hinweise
Hygroskopisch. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
