Beschreibung

Chloroquin-Diphosphatsalz, CAS-Nr. 50-63-5, ist ein Mitglied der Chinolon-Familie, das als DNA-Interkalator gilt.Es zeigt eine entzündungshemmende Aktivität sowie eine Wirkung gegen Malaria und Filarien.

Chloroquine diphosphate salt is used to study the role of endosomal acidification in cellular processes, such as the signaling of intracellular TLRs. It can be used as DNA intercalator & to dissociate antigen antibody complexes without denaturing red blood cell antigens. Chloroquine showed very high antiviral activity against NiV but very little activity against the other viruses at concentrations lower than 20 μM.

Anwendungen
Chloroquin-Diphosphatsalz wird verwendet, um die Rolle der endosomalen Versauerung in zellulären Prozessen zu untersuchen, wie z. B. die Signalisierung intrazellulärer TLRs. Es kann als DNA-Interkalator und zur Dissoziation von Antigen-Antikörper-Komplexen verwendet werden, ohne rote Antigene von roten Blutkörperchen zu denaturieren. Chloroquin zeigte bei Konzentrationen unter 20 µM eine sehr hohe antivirale Aktivität gegen NiV, aber nur sehr geringe Aktivität gegen die anderen Viren.
