Beschreibung

Cholesteryl nonanoate is used in hair colors, cosmetic products like lip products, lotions. It is also used in the manufature of some pleochroic dyes. It can be also used as a component of the liquid crystals used for liquid crystal displays.

Anwendungen
Cholesteryl-Nonanoat wird in Haarfarben, kosmetischen Produkten wie Lippenpflege und Lotionen verwendet. Wird auch bei der Herstellung einiger pleochromer Farbstoffe verwendet. Kann auch als Bestandteil der Flüssigkristalle für Flüssigkristallanzeigen verwendet werden.

Löslich in Chloroform, Tetrahydrofuran (THF). Nicht in Wasser löslich.

Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Inkompatible Materialien sind starke Oxidationsmittel, starke Säuren, starke Basen, starke Reduktionsmittel.
