Allgemeine Beschreibung

• D-Galactosamin ist ein Pyranose-Aminozucker mit hepatotoxischen Merkmalen.

•Es wirkt als Inhibitor der RNA-Synthese in Hepatozyten.

•Es fördert die Bindung polymorphonukleärer Leukozyten an Endothelzellen und erhöht so die Superoxidproduktion.

Anwendungen

• D-Galactosamin kann zusammen mit LPS als hepatotoxisch in experimentellen In-vitro-Modellen verwendet werden.

• Es eignet sich für eine Reihe biochemischer Laboranwendungen.
