Beschreibung

Ellagic acid used as selective, ATP-competitive inhibitor of casein kinase 2. Exhibits antitumor activity and inhibits glutathione S-transferase. It is also used as a Topo I and II, FGR, GSK, and PKA inhibitor.Commonly occurring plant polyphenol, inhibitor of glutathione S-transferase. Used for the assay of factor XIIa in plasma.Contact activation in blood coagulation.

Anwendungen
Die als selektiver, ATP-wettbewerbsfähiger Inhibitor von Caseinkinase 2 verwendete ellagische Säure. Zeigt eine Antitumoraktivität und hemmt die Glutathion-S-Transferase. Es wird auch als Topo I und II, FGR, GSK, und PKA inhibitor. Häufig vorkommende Pflanze Polyphenol, Inhibitor von Glutathion S-Transferase verwendet. Wird für den Assay von Faktor XIIa im Plasma verwendet. Kontaktaktivierung bei der Blutgerinnung.

Löslichkeit
Schwer in Wasser löslich. Löslich in 1 M Natriumhydroxid (10 mg/ml), EtOH und Pyridin.

Hinweise
Luft- und lichtempfindlich. Unter trockenem Inertgas lagern. Kühl und trocken in dicht verschlossenen Behältern lagern. Im Dunkeln und fern von Luft lagern.
