Beschreibung

(Ethoxycarbonylmethylene)triphenylphosphoran is used as a Wittig reagent in organic synthesis. It is used in the preparation of indole from o-nitrobenzaldehydes, coumarins from o-hydroxy acetophenone. It acts as an inhibitor and inhibits the activity of cholinesterase.

Anwendungen
(Ethoxycarbonylmethylen)triphenylphosphoran wird als Wittig-Reagenz bei der organischen Synthese verwendet. Es wird bei der Herstellung von Indol aus o-Nitrobenzaldehyden und Cumarinen aus o-Hydroxyacetophenon verwendet. Es wirkt als Inhibitor und hemmt die Aktivität der Cholinesterase.
