Beschreibung

Hafnium trifluoromethanesulfonate is a recyclable catalyst for the mononitration of o-nitrotoluene. It serves as a catalyst for homogeneous methoxycarbonylation and hydrocarboxylation reactions of phenylacetylene. It is also used as a reactant for direct Friedel-Crafts reactions of chromene hemiacetals, aminomethylation reactions under Lewis acidic conditions and prins-type cyclization reactions. It is also involved in the direct polycondensation of lactic acid. Further, it is used in cationic benzylation reactions, chemoselective thioacetalization and transthioacetalization of carbonyl compounds.

Anwendungen
Hafnium-Trifluormethansulfonat ist ein recycelbarer Katalysator für die Mononitration von O-Nitrotoluol. Dient als Katalysator für homogene Methoxycarbonylierungs- und Hydrocarboxylierungsreaktionen von Phenylacetylen. Wird auch als Reaktionsmittel für direkte Friedel-Crafts-Reaktionen von Chromhalbacetalen, Aminomethylierungsreaktionen unter Lewis-Säurebedingungen und druckartige Zyklisierungsreaktionen verwendet. Ist auch an der direkten Polykondensation von Milchsäure beteiligt. Wird darüber hinaus bei kationischen Benzylierungsreaktionen, chemoselektiver Thioacetalisierung und Transthioacetalisierung von Carbonylverbindungen eingesetzt.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Methylcyanid, Dicholomethan, Dichlorethan, Nitromethan, Dioxan, Terahydrofuran und Toluol.

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln. Feuchtigkeitsempfindlich.
