Anwendungen

Sehr löslich in Wasser, Alkohol und flüssigem Ammoniak.

Hinweise
Die Erwärmung von Magnesiumnitrat-Hexahydrat führt nicht zur Dehydrierung, sondern zur Zersetzung zu Magnesiumoxid, Stickoxid und Sauerstoff.
