The Mouse L-Selectin (SELL) ELISA quantitates Ms L-Selectin in mouse serum, plasma, or cell culture medium. The assay will exclusively recognize both natural and recombinant Ms L-Selectin. Principle of the method The Mouse L-Selectin solid-phase sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) is designed to measure the amount of the target bound between a matched antibody pair. A target-specific antibody has been pre-coated in the wells of the supplied microplate. Samples, standards, or controls are then added into these wells and bind to the immobilized (capture) antibody. The sandwich is formed by the addition of the second (detector) antibody, a substrate solution is added that reacts with the enzyme-antibody-target complex to produce measurable signal. The intensity of this signal is directly proportional to the concentration of target present in the original specimen. Rigorous validation Each manufactured lot of this ELISA kit is quality tested for criteria such as sensitivity, specificity, precision, and lot-to-lot consistency. CD62L (L-Selektin) ist ein Adhäsionsglykoprotein mit einem Molekulargewichtsbereich von 74 bis 95 kDa, das konstitutiv auf der Zelloberfläche von Leukozyten exprimiert wird und ihr Homing an entzündliche Stellen und periphere Lymphknoten vermittelt, indem es das Rolling entlang der venulären Wand ermöglicht. CD62L ist auch an der aktivierungsinduzierten Neutrophilen-Aggregation beteiligt. Ein aktivierungsabhängiger CD62L-Abwurf wirkt jedoch dem Neutrophilen-Rolling entgegen. CD62L hat auch Signalfunktionen wie die Verbesserung der Chemokin-Rezeptor-Expression. Ähnlich wie CD62P ist der Hauptligand von CD62L PSGL-1 (P-Selektin-Glykoprotein-Ligand-1). Einzelnukleotid-Polymorphismen im CD26L-Gen wurden mit verschiedenen Erkrankungen, einschließlich Immunglobulin A-Nephropathie, in Verbindung gebracht. Für CD26L wurden alternativ gespleißte Transkriptvarianten gefunden.
