Beschreibung

N-Acetylneuraminic acid is useful biologically in neurotransmission, leukocyte extravasation, viral or bacterial infections and carbohydrate-protein recognition. Neu5Ac is used to study its biochemistry, metabolism and uptake. Neu5Ac is used in the development of nanocarriers.

Anwendungen
N-Acetylneuraminsäure ist biologisch nützlich bei der Neurotransmission, Leukozyten-Extravasation, viralen oder bakteriellen Infektionen und der Erkennung von Kohlenhydraten und Proteinen. Neu5Ac wird zur Untersuchung seiner Biochemie, seines Metabolismus und seiner Aufnahme in vivo und in vitro verwendet. Neu5Ac wird bei der Entwicklung von Nanocarriern verwendet.
