Beschreibung
Cluster of Differentiation 19 (CD19) recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. This protein is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure the study of protein-protein interactions, and cell biology research applications. It can also be used as an immunogen, or as a protein standard.Background: Cluster of Differentiation 19 (CD19), is a single-pass type I membrane protein which contains two Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulinlike) domains. CD19 forms a complex with CD21, CD81 and CD225 in the membrane of mature B cells. It interacts with VAV. It interacts with GRB2 and SOS when phosphorylated on Tyr-348 and/or Tyr-378. CD19 also interacts with PLCG2 when phosphorylated on Tyr-409. CD19 is an important pan B cell marker and co-stimulatory protein in humans and mice. CD19 is a hallmark differentiation antigen of the B cell lineage and positively regulates antigen receptor signal transduction in mature B cells. CD19 defines signaling thresholds for the Ag receptor as well as other cell surface receptors that regulate B lymphocyte selection, activation, and differentiation. Defects in CD19 are a cause of hypogammaglobulinemia.

- Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA; immobilized human CD19 at 2μg/mL (100μL/well) has been shown to bind biotinylated human CD9 with a linear range of 0.032-0.8μg/mL
- Formulation: lyophilized in PBS, pH 7.4, 5% mannitol, 5% trehalose, and 0.02% Tween™-80
- Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double-distilled water to a concentration of 0.2mg/mL or lower; aliquot and use as soon as possible
