Description
Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (Liporeotein-Associated Coagulation Inhibitor) (TFPI), recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in protein studies such as enzymatic analysis and protein-protein interactions. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.- Activity: Measured by its ability to inhibit trypsin cleavage of a fluorogenic peptide substrate, Mca-RPKPVE-Nval-WRK(Dnp)-NH2 (Anaspec Cat. No.27114), the IC50 value is <0.4nM, as measured in 100μL reaction mixture containing 1.25ng trypsin (Sigma Cat. No.T4799), 10μM substrate, 50mM Tris, 10mM CaCl2, 0.15M NaCl, 0.05% Brij-35, pH 7.5
- Formulation: Lyophilized in 140mM NaCl, 2.7mM KCl, 10mM Na2HPO4, 1.8mM KH2PO4, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween 80
- Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2mg/mL or lower; aliquot and use as soon as possible
