Beschreibung
Visfatin (human) Recombinant Protein, RP-75757, from Invitrogen.
Visfatin is a novel adipokine produced by visceral adipose tissue. Visfatin is thought to be a natural insulin mimetic since is has been shown to bind to insulin receptors in liver, muscle and fat. Increased circulationg plasma levels are likely to play critical roles in metabolic syndromes such as obesity and diabetes. RP-75757 contains purified recombinant human Visfatin protein with an N-terminal hexahistidine tag. RP-75757 may be used as a positive control in Western blot assays. This protein has a molecular weight of ∽60.2 kDa.Spezifikation
