1-Piperazineethanol is a hydroxyalkyl substituted pieprazine used in the preparation of pharmaceutical compounds. It is also used as an Intermediate in the manufacture of polyurethane catalysts, corrosion inhibitors, surfactants, synthetic fibers, pharmaceuticals. It is also used to synthesize triethylenediamine.

Anwendungen
1-Piperazinethanol ist ein Hydroxyalkyl-substituiertes Piperazin, das bei der Herstellung pharmazeutischer Verbindungen verwendet wird. Es wird auch als Zwischenprodukt bei der Herstellung von Polyurethan-Katalysatoren, Korrosionshemmern, Tensiden, synthetischen Fasern und Pharmazeutika verwendet. Es wird zudem bei der Synthese von Triethylendiamin eingesetzt.

Löslichkeit
Mit Wasser mischbar. Auch mischbar in Ethanol, Aceton, Ätherbenzol. Nicht mischbar in Hexan.

Hinweise
Hygroskopisch. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten.
