Anwendungen
-Adamantanamin-Hydrochlorid wird bei der prophylaktischen und symptomatischen Behandlung von Influenza A eingesetzt. Es wird auch als Antiparkinsonmittel, zur Behandlung von extrapyramidalen Reaktionen und bei postherpetischen Neuralgien verwendet. Es wird außerdem als ein NMDA-Rezeptorantagonist eingesetzt

Löslich in Wasser (50 mg/ml), Ethanol (38 mg/ml bei 25 °C), Chloroform (1:18), DMSO (38 mg/ml bei 25 °C) und Methanol

Hinweise
Hygroskopisch. Kühl und trocken in dicht verschlossenen Behältern lagern. Mit guter Belüftung. Nicht in der Nähe von Oxidationsmittel und Wasser/Feuchtigkeit lagern.
