1-Hexyne is used in the preparation of tricyclic isoindolinone scaffold by undergoing hydrozirconation and ring-closing metathesis. It is used to prepare trans-1,2-bis(5-thianthreniumyl)alkene tetrafluoroborate by reacting with thianthrene cation radical tetrafluoroborate.

Anwendungen
1-Hexyn wird bei der Vorbereitung trizyklischer Isoindolinon-Gerüste durch Hydrozirkonation und Ringschlussmetathese verwendet. Eingesetzt zur Vorbereitung von trans-1,2-bis(5-thianthreniumyl)alken-Tetrafluoroborat durch Reaktion mit Thianthren-Kationenradikalen-Tetrafluoroborat.

Löslichkeit
Mischbar mit gängigen organischen Lösungsmitteln. Nicht mit Wasser mischbar.

Hinweise
Inkompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln, starken Reduktionsmitteln, starken Säuren und starken Basen.
