1-n-Butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate is an ionic liquid used for various reactions such as hydrogenations, asymmetric hydrogenations proceed in higher enantioselectivity than in homogeneous phase. It is also used in Suzuki cross-coupling.

Anwendungen
1-n-Butyl-3-Methylimidazolium-tetrafluoroborat ist eine ionische Flüssigkeit, die für verschiedene Reaktionen wie Hydrierungen, asymmetrische Hydrierungen in höherer Enantioselektivität als in homogener Phase verwendet wird. Wird auch in der Suzuki-Kreuzkupplung verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Mischbar mit Aceton, Acetonitril, Ethylacetat, Isopropylalkohol und Methylenchlorid. Nicht mischbar mit Hexan, Toluol und Wasser.

Hinweise
Feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
