Wird darüber hinaus als Moschus in Parfümen und Aromen verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Alkohol, Chloroform, Diethylether, Benzol und festen oder flüchtigen Ölen. Unlöslich in heißem und kaltem Wasser.
