2,3,5-Triphenyl-2H-tetrazolium chloride is used as a redox indicator. It is also used in biochemical experiments, especially to indicate cellular respiration. It is employed in autopsy pathology to assist identification of post-mortem myocardial infarctions.

Anwendungen
2,3,5-Triphenyl-2H-Tetrazoliumchlorid wird als Redox-Indikator verwendet. Wird auch in biochemischen Experimenten eingesetzt, insbesondere zur Anzeige der Zellatmung. Wird in der Autopsiepathologie eingesetzt, um die Identifizierung von postmortalen Myokardinfarkt zu unterstützen.
