1,3,4-thiadiazole-2,5-dithiol (Bismuthiol I) was used in determination of tellurium in indium phosphide doped with cadmium telluride by electro thermal atomic absorption spectrometry. It forms polymers with metals and can be useful in treatment of metal-polluted water.

Anwendungen
1,3,4-Thiadiazol-2,5-Dithiol (Bismuthiol I) wurde zur Bestimmung von Tellur in Indiumphosphid verwendet, das mit Cadmium-Tellurid mittels elektrothermischer Atomabsorptionsspektrometrie dotiert wurde. Bildet Polymere mit Metallen, und kann bei der Behandlung von metallverunreinigtem Wasser nützlich sein.
