(3-Aminopropyl)trimethoxysilane is used as a silane coupling agent on silver nanoparticles. It is also used in silanization processes. It is also used to prepare surface modified titanate nanotubes (TiNT).

Anwendungen
(3-Aminopropyl)trimethoxysilan wird als Silankupplungsmittel auf Silber-Nanopartikeln verwendet. Auch in Silanisierungsprozessen eingesetzt. Es wird auch zur Vorbereitung von oberflächenmodifizierten Titanat-Nanoröhren (TiNT) verwendet.

Mit Wasser mischbar.

Hinweise
Feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Inkompatibel mit starken Säuren, starken Oxidationsmitteln, Wasser, Basen, Alkoholen und Peroxiden.
