3-Maleimidopropionic acid N-hydroxysuccinimide ester is a reagent that is widely used for generating stable maleimide-activated carrier proteins that can spontaneously react with sulfhydryls. Alternatively these relatively stable maleimide-activated intermediates may be lyophilized and stored for later conjugation to a hapten.

Anwendungen
3-Maleimidopropionsäure-N-Hydroxysuccinimidester ist ein Reagenz, das häufig zur Erzeugung stabiler, mit Maleimid aktivierter Trägerproteine verwendet wird, die spontan mit Sulfhydrylen reagieren können. Alternativ können diese relativ stabilen, mit Maleimid aktivierten Zwischenprodukte gefriergetrocknet und für die spätere Konjugation an einem Hapten gelagert werden.

Unlöslich in Wasser.

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Fern von starken Oxidationsmitteln, Hitze, Wasser und Feuchtigkeit aufbewahren.
