ELISA

The Mouse 6-Ckine (CCL21A) ELISA quantitates Ms 6-Ckine in mouse serum, plasma, or cell culture medium. The assay will exclusively recognize both natural and recombinant Ms 6-Ckine. Principle of the method The Mouse 6-Ckine solid-phase sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) is designed to measure the amount of the target bound between a matched antibody pair. A target-specific antibody has been pre-coated in the wells of the supplied microplate. Samples, standards, or controls are then added into these wells and bind to the immobilized (capture) antibody. The sandwich is formed by the addition of the second (detector) antibody, a substrate solution is added that reacts with the enzyme-antibody-target complex to produce measurable signal. The intensity of this signal is directly proportional to the concentration of target present in the original specimen. Rigorous validation Each manufactured lot of this ELISA kit is quality tested for criteria such as sensitivity, specificity, precision, and lot-to-lot consistency. Dieses Gen ist eines von mehreren CC-Zytokin-Genen, die auf dem p-Arm des Chromosoms 9 gruppiert sind. Zytokine sind eine Familie von sezernierten Proteinen, die an immunoregulatorischen und entzündlichen Prozessen beteiligt sind. Die CC-Zytokine sind Proteine, die durch zwei benachbarte Zysteine charakterisiert sind. Ähnlich wie andere Chemokine hemmt das Protein, das durch dieses Gen kodiert wird, die Hämopoiese und stimuliert die Chemotaxis. Dieses Protein ist chemotaktisch in vitro für Thymozyten und aktivierte T-Zellen, jedoch nicht für B-Zellen, Makrophagen oder Neutrophilen. Das durch dieses Gen kodierte Zytokin kann auch eine Rolle bei der Vermittlung des Homings von Lymphozyten an sekundäre lymphoide Organe spielen. Es handelt sich um einen funktionellen Liganden mit hoher Affinität für den Chemokin-Rezeptor 7 (CCR7), der auf T- und B-Lymphozyten exprimiert wird, und einen weiteren bekannten Rezeptor für ein anderes Mitglied der Zytokin-Familie (kleines induzierbares Zytokin A19).
