9-Bromophenanthrene is used as halogenated building block. Isotope labelled 9-Bromophenanthrene (B687200), a halogenated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon that has been seen to have a room temperature phosphorescence that can be induced by β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) in the presence of cyclohexane; however, trace Fe(III) causes a decrease of the RTP emission.

Anwendungen
9-Bromphenanthren wird als halogenierter Baustein verwendet. Isotop mit der Bezeichnung 9-Bromphenanthren (B687200), ein polyzyklischer aromatischer Halogenkohlenwasserstoff, der eine Phosphoreszenz bei Raumtemperatur aufweist, die durch β-Cyclodextrin (β-CD) in Gegenwart von Cyclohexan induziert werden kann; Fe(III)-Spuren verursachen jedoch eine Verringerung der RTP-Emission.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Toluol und Chloroform (50 mg/ml).

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln. Von Oxidationsmitteln entfernt aufbewahren Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten.
