Acetaldehyde, 99%
Description
Acetaldehyde is used in the production of drugs, perfumes, explosives, lacquers and varnishes, photographic chemicals, phenolic and urea resins, rubber accelerators and antioxidants. It is used as an intermediate for the synthesis of acetic acid, ethyl acetate, acetic anhydride, pentaerythritol, peracetic acid, chloral and glyoxal. As a solvent, it is used in rubber production, tanning of leather and in the paper industry. It is used as a fruit and fish preservative, as a flavoring agent, as a denaturant for alcohol and in composition of fuel.
