This antibody is specific to BCL11B. The calculated molecular weight of BCL11B is 95 kDa, but modified BCL11B protein is about 116 kDa.
This gene encodes a C2H2-type zinc finger protein and is closely related to BCL11A, a gene whose translocation may be associated with B-cell maligcies.
