Biotin-Blockierungspuffer ist für die effiziente Blockierung von biotinylierten Proteinen in westlichen Blot-Analysen optimiert

Je nach Wirtsorganismus können Proteinextrakte kleine Mengen biotinylierter Proteine wie das Biotin Carboxyl-Trägerprotein (BCCP, 22 kDa) enthalten. Von E. coli.Biotin Blockierungspuffer wird für das Blockieren solcher biotinylierten Proteine auf westlichen Blots vor dem Nachweis von Strep-tag™II oder Twin-Strep-tag™ Fusionsproteinen mit Strep-Tactin™ oder Strep-Tactin™XT-Konjugaten empfohlen, um den Nachweis von falsch positiven Banden zu verhindern. Der Puffer enthält das tetramerische Biotin-Bindungsprotein Avidin, das selektiv biotinylierte Proteine bindet. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Verwendung von BioLock bei der Verwendung von StrepMAB-Classic nicht erforderlich ist, da dieser Antikörper nicht an biotinylierte Proteine bindet.
