Beschreibung

Brucine is used as a denaturing alcohol, lubricant additive, separation of racemic mixtures. Proposed to reduce inflammatory mediators including COX-2, PGE2 and thromboxane B2. Able to induce cell apoptosis, with cytotoxic and antiproliferative effects.

Anwendungen
Brucin wird als Denaturierungsalkohol, Schmiermittelzusatz und für die Trennung von racemischen Gemischen verwendet. Zur möglichen Hemmung von entzündlichen Mediatoren wie COX-2, PGE2- und Thromboxan B2. Kann mit zytotoxischen und antiproliferativen Effekten Zellapoptose induzieren.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Alkohol, Chloroform und Benzol, schwer löslich in Wasser, Äther und Glycerin

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Von starken Oxidationsmitteln fernhalten.
