Unless noted below, aliquots of the 5 μg, 10 μg and 20 μg sizes of kinase are not recommended as materials can be used in original packaging until exhausted. For larger sizes, the number of freeze/thaws may be reduced by preparing aliquots, aliquots below 20 μL are not recommended. Please never store a kinase diluted. CAMK1D (CaMK1 delta) is a serine/threonine kinase that is a member of the calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase family. CAMK1D is expressed in polymorphonuclear leukocytes and may be part of the chemokine signal transduction pathway that regulates granulocyte function. It may also be involved in modulation of neuronal apoptosis. Calcium/clamodulin-dependent protein kinase 1D-beta isoform is a novel calmodulin-kinase that exhibits Ca (2+)/CaM-dependent activity. CAM-Kkalpha upregulates CAMK1D-b activity through phosphorylation of its Thr180.
