CaptureSelect IgG-Fc (Multispecies) Magnetic Agarose Beads are high-capacity, high-throughput magnetic affinity particles for antibody purification using manual or robotic magnetic separators. The CaptureSelect IgG-Fc (multispecies) ligand has been specifically designed to purify IgG through high-affinity binding of the IgG Fc region. These magnetic agarose beads can be used for the purification of IgG from a broad range of species. The tested species and their specificity are shown in the figure below.

CaptureSelect products contain affinity ligands based on recombinant single-domain antibody fragments (VHH) created by a proprietary technology. The VHH affinity ligand is a 12 to 15 kDa fragment comprising the three complementarity-determining regions (CDRs) that form the antigen-binding domain, efficiently produced in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae by a production process free of any animal components (Animal Origin-Free).
