Cobalt(II) acetate is used as an industrial catalyst. It is used as a precursor to various oil drying agents. It finds application in ion exchange agents, lubricants, plating agents and surface treating agents, greases, ink, toner, and colorant products.

Anwendungen
Cobalt(II)-acetat wird als industrieller Katalysator verwendet. Es wird als Vorläufer für verschiedene Öltrocknungsmittel verwendet. Es findet Anwendung in Ionenaustausch-, Schmier-, Galvanisier- und Oberflächenbehandlungsmitteln, Schmierfetten, Tinte, Tonern und Farbstoffen.

Löslich in Wasser, Alkohol und verdünnten Säuren.

Hinweise
Hygroskopisch. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
