Beschreibung

D-(+)-Cellobiose is used to differentiate bacteria based on carbohydrate fermentation abilities. It is a β-glucosidase substrate. Also used as as a chemical raw material and for foods, as a low-sweetness sugar.

Anwendungen
D-(+)-Cellobiose wird zur Unterscheidung von Bakterien auf der Basis von Kohlenhydraten verwendet. Ist ein β-Glucosidasesubstrat. Wird auch als chemischer Rohstoff und für Lebensmittel als Zucker mit geringer Süße verwendet.

Löslich in Wasser (1 g/8 ml). Unlöslich in Äther und Ethanol.
