D-Glucurono-6,3-lactone is a glucuronic acid derivative studied for its effectiveness against canine hepatitis. It is utilized in the studies such as starting regent in the synthesis of 2,3,4,-tris(tert.-butyldimethysilyl) glucuronic acid trichloroethylester, required for the preparation of 1-O-acyl glucuronide of the anti-inflammatory drug ML-3000, synthesis of optically active glucopyranoses, synthesis of long-chain alkyl glucofuranosides.

Anwendungen
D-Glucuron-6,3-Lacton ist ein Glucuronsäure-Derivat, das auf seine Wirksamkeit gegen Kaninchenhepatitis untersucht wurde. Es wird in Versuchen als Startreagenz bei der Synthese von 2,3,4,-tris(tert.-butyldimethysilyl)glucuronsäuretrichlorethylester verwendet, der für die Vorbereitung von 1-O-Acylglucuronid des entzündungshemmenden Arzneimittels ML-3000 sowie zur Synthese von optisch aktiven Glucopyranosen und langkettigen Alkylglucoanosiden erforderlich ist.

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Unverträglich mit starken Basen, starken Säuren und starken Oxidationsmitteln.
