Decahydronaphthalene is widely used as an industrial solvent for resins and fuel additives. It is a substitute for turpentine in lacquers, shoe polishes and waxes.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. Anwendungen
Decahydronaphthalin wird häufig als industrielles Lösungsmittel für Harze und Kraftstoffadditive verwendet. Es dient als Ersatz für Terpentin in Lacken, Schuhpolituren und Wachsen.

Löslichkeit
Mischbar mit Aceton, Benzol, Äther, Methanol, Anilin, Decalin, Chloroform, Butanol und Ethanol. Nicht mit Wasser mischbar.

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Luft-, licht- und wärmeempfindlich. Wärme und Licht beschleunigen die Peroxidbildung. Nicht kompatibel mit Oxidationsmitteln.
