Dimethylglyoxime is a well known reagent in analytical chemistry. It is used for the qualitative and quantitative determination of nickel by gravimetric analysis. It also finds application in the separation of palladium from tin, gold, rhodium and iridium. It is also useful in the detection of bismuth.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. Anwendungen
Dimethylglyoxim ist ein bekanntes Reagenz in der analytischen Chemie. Es wird für die qualitative und quantitative Bestimmung von Nickel durch gravimetrische Analyse verwendet. Es findet auch Anwendung bei der Trennung von Palladium von Zinn, Gold, Rhodium und Iridium. Es ist auch für den Nachweis von Wismut nützlich.
