Heavy metal chelating agentDL-Penicillamine is used as an antirheumatic. It also serves as a chelating agent for heavy metals. Further, it is used in the treatment of Wilson's desease, Cystinuria, Scleroderma and arsenic poisoning.

Anwendungen
Schwermetall-Chelatbildner DL-Penicillamin wird als Antirheumatikum verwendet. Es dient auch als Chelatbildner für Schwermetalle. Weiterhin wird es bei der Behandlung von Morbus Wilson, Zystinurie, Sklerodermie und Arsenvergiftung eingesetzt.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Ethanol, heißem Wasser und Natriumhydroxid.

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit Oxidationsmitteln. Kühl lagern.
