Giemsa Stain is used as a laboratory reagent and stain for microscopy. It is also used for the histopathologic detection of malaria and other parasites such as spirochete and protozoan. The stain is also been incorporated in differential staining between bacterial and human cells. The compound has been used in combination with May-Grunwald or Wright Stain (sc-203763) as a histological hematology stain.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. Anwendungen
Giemsa-Färbung wird als Laborreagenz und Färbemittel für die Mikroskopie verwendet. Sie wird auch für den histopathologischen Nachweis von Malaria und anderen Parasiten wie Spirochäten und Protozoen verwendet. Die Färbung wurde auch in die Differenzialfärbung zwischen bakteriellen und menschlichen Zellen integriert. Die Verbindung wurde in Kombination mit der May-Grünwald- oder Wright-Färbung (sc-203763) als histologisches Hämatologie-Färbemittel verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Nicht löslich in Wasser (<0.1 %), Methanol (5.8 mg/l) und Ethanol.

Hinweise
Halten Sie den Behälter dicht verschlossen. Kühl und trocken in einem gut versiegelten Behälter lagern. Nicht kompatibel mit Oxidationsmitteln.
