Diese einheitlichen und superparamagnetischen Beads haben einen Durchmesser von 1 μm und eine Monoschicht, keine Multischicht, aus rekombinantem Streptavidin, das kovalent an die Oberfläche gekoppelt und zusätzlich mit BSA blockiert ist. Durch den Streptavidin-Monolayer bleibt der überwiegende Teil der Biotin-Bindungsstellen sterisch für die Bindung verfügbar, nicht nur für freies Biotin, sondern auch für biotinylierte Liganden/Anwendungen. Die Beads zeigen eine schnelle Flüssigphasen-Reaktionskinetik. Ihre spezifische und definierte Oberfläche ermöglicht die effiziente Bindung, Trennung und Handhabung für nachfolgende Anwendungen. Der Streptavidin-Monolayer sorgt für vernachlässigbare Leckage, und das Fehlen von überschüssigem adsorbiertem Streptavidin gewährleistet Konsistenz zwischen den einzelnen Chargen und Reproduzierbarkeit der Ergebnisse. Die 1 μm großen Dynabeads MyOne haben eine große Oberfläche, hohe Kapazität, effiziente Anziehungskraft und eine langsame Sedimentationsrate während der Inkubation. Sie sind maßgeschneidert für automatisierte Protokolle, für die ein hoher Probendurchsatz ausschlaggebend ist.
