Description

Hergestellt gemäß Europ. Arzneibuch Ph. 4(2.2.2) Standards. Eisen(III)Chlorid, 4.5 % Lösung, Chem-Lab ist eine gelbe Primärlösung mit 45g FeCl3·6H2O pro 1 l ±1 % HCl. Dient zur katalytischen Reaktion bei kolorimetrischen Tests für Phenole und Wasser-/Abwasserbehandlung.

Eisen(III)-Chlorid-Hexahydrat wird als Lewis-Säure für katalytische Reaktionen und für kolorimetrische Tests auf Phenole und ihre Derivate verwendet. Es wird als Klärmittel in der Abwasser- und Trinkwasseraufbereitung eingesetzt. Weitere Verwendungszwecke von Eisen(III)-Chlorid-Hexahydrat sind die Chloridhydrometallurgie und der Nachweis von Gamma-Hydroxybutyrinsäuren und Salicylsäuren.
