Isopropyl tetradecanoate is used as a solvent in perfume products and the oil phase in the preparation of formulations. It finds application in eye makeup, nail care products, soaps and detergents, hair care products, shaving products and other skin care products. It behaves as a non-aqueous component of the two-phase mouthwash, Dentyl pH, thereby it removes bacteria from the oral cavity.

Anwendungen
Isopropyl-Tetradecanoat wird als Lösungsmittel in Parfümprodukten und der Ölphase bei der Herstellung von Rezepturen verwendet. Es findet Anwendung in Augenmakeup, Nagelpflegeprodukten, Seifen und Reinigungsmitteln, Haarpflegeprodukten, Rasierprodukten und anderen Hautpflegeprodukten. Es verhält sich wie eine nicht-wässrige Komponente der Zwei-Phasen-Mundspülung, Dentyl pH, und entfernt dadurch Bakterien aus der Mundhöhle.

Löslichkeit
Mischbar mit Alkohol. Unlösbar mit Wasser und Glycerin.
