Working Concentration: 0.625 μg/mL. Sensitivity: 1 ng/mL LSD produces 82% inhibition in a competitive ELISA employing Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) polyclonal antibody.
LSD is a semisynthetic derivative of ergot (Claviceps purpurea). Lysergide has complex effects on serotonergic systems including antagonism at some peripheral serotonin receptors, both agonist and antagonist actions at central nervous system serotonin receptors, and possibly effects on serotonin turnover.
