Malonamide is a reagent for fluorimetric determination of reducing carbohydrates. The malonamide-based ionic liquid extractant was used in the extraction of europium(iii) and other trivalent rare earth elements from nitric acid medium.

Anwendungen
Malonamid ist ein Reagenz zur fluormetrischen Bestimmung von reduzierenden Kohlenhydraten. Das auf Malonamid basierende ionische flüssige Extraktionsmittel wurde bei der Extraktion von Europium(iii) und anderen dreiwertigen Seltenerdelementen aus Salpetersäuremedium verwendet.
