Manganese(II) acetate is used as a dye mordant and varnish drier. It is also used in fertilizers, food packaging and feed additives. Further, it serves as a desiccant, catalyst, intermediate and ion exchange agent.

Anwendungen
Mangan(II)-Acetat wird als Farbbeize und Lacktrockner verwendet. Es wird auch in Düngemitteln, Lebensmittelverpackungen und Futtermittelzusatzstoffen verwendet. Außerdem dient es als Trockenmittel, Katalysator, Zwischen- und Ionenaustauschmittel.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser, Methanol und Essigsäure.

Hinweise
Hygroskopisch. Unverträglich mit starken Oxidationsmitteln, starken Basen und starken Säuren.
