Description

Used as a rubefacient, topical vasodilator used to test the efficacy of skin protection compounds (i.e. products designed to provide barriers to chemical warfare agents) and used as a flavoring agent. It is a useful synthetic intermediate. It can be used to prepare biarylcarboxamide inhibitors of phosphodiesterase IV and tumor necrosis factor-α in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. Anwendungen
Wird als hautrötender, topischer Vasodilator verwendet, um die Wirksamkeit von Hautschutzverbindungen (d. h. Produkten, die Barrieren für chemische Kampfstoffe bieten) zu testen, und kann auch als Aromastoff eingesetzt werden. Ein nützliches synthetisches Zwischenprodukt. Löslichkeit
Wasserlöslich bei 20 °C 48 g/l. Löslich in Alkohol, Chloroform und Ethylacetat. Löslichkeit in Methanol (nahezu Transparenz).
