Methyl trifluoromethanesulfonate is used as a powerful methylating reagent in chemistry. Further, it is used in the conversion of amines to methyl ammonium triflates. In addition, it is also used in Suzuki reaction.

Anwendungen
Methyl-Trifluormethansulfonat wird als leistungsstarkes Methylierungsreagenz in der Chemie verwendet. Darüber hinaus wird es bei der Umwandlung von Aminen in Methylammoniumtrifleate eingesetzt. Außerdem wird es auch bei der Suzuki-Reaktion eingesetzt.

Hinweise
Luft- und feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Kühl lagern. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln, starken Basen, starken Säuren und starken Reduktionsmitteln. Es hydrolysiert mit Wasser.
